Adrian Peterson could be nearing the end of his NFL career.
Peterson, 37, told NFL insider Josina Anderson on Sunday that he will make a “formal” announcement about his NFL future at the end of April.
The expectation is that Peterson will hang up his cleats for the last time. However, that’s not been confirmed as is purely speculation at this point.
“Just got of the phone with 7x-Pro Bowl RB Adrian Peterson. He told me he’s currently targeting end of the month or April for a formal announcement on his NFL career & future. 2007–Rookie of the Year 2012–MVP & OPOTY 4x-First-Team All-Pro 3x-Rush Yards leader 2x-Rush TD leader,” Anderson reported on Twitter.

At one point in time, Adrian Peterson was one of the most dominant players in the NFL. He currently has 14,918 yards rushing. That’s good for fifth most all-time.
