Odell Beckham Jr. worked out for 12 NFL teams more than a year removed from tearing his ACL in Super Bowl LVI. After missing the entire 2022 NFL season, Beckham Jr. could play for the Dallas Cowboys in 2023.

Beckham first met with the Cowboys in early December, attending a Dallas Mavericks game with Cowboys players and touring the team facility. However, he never went through a workout in Dallas, and the medical staff had concerns about his knee.

With concerns regarding Beckham Jr.’s availability to play, Dallas signed veteran wide receiver T.Y Hilton. After the season ended and with Dallas back in the market for a No. 2 receiver to play opposite of CeeDee Lamb, it appears the possibility of a signing is back on the table.

According to Jordan Schultz of the Score, the Cowboys have had “positive discussions” with Beckham Jr. in recent days. While they are just one of several teams interested in landing the former All-Pro wideout, there is mutual interest between the two sides.

Dallas created the necessary room to sign Beckham Jr. this spring by designating running back Ezekiel Elliott as a post-June 1 release. With linebacker Leighton Vander Esch already re-signed and cornerback Stephon Gilmore added to the roster, the Cowboys are now in the market for pieces that could help them win a Super Bowl in 2023.

Beckham Jr. made a strong impression on teams during his private workout in Arizona. The 30-year-old looked explosive for the first time since his ACL tear, generating positive reviews from club officials in attendance.

The New York Giants, Kansas City Chiefs, Baltimore Ravens, Buffalo Bills, Carolina Panthers and New York Jets are among the teams interested in signing Beckham Jr.

He is reportedly seeking a multi-year deal worth around $20 million per season, which would put him top 15 among the highest-paid wide receivers in the NFL.
