Daron Payne and the Washington Commanders have struck gold. The two sides have reached an agreement on a new contract for the star defensive tackle.
Payne and the Commanders have agreed to a four-year, $90 million deal, according to multiple reports.
It’s a huge pay-day for Payne, who’s clearly a foundational piece of the Commanders defense. The new contract makes him the highest-paid NFL defensive tackle not named Aaron Donald.
A well-deserved deal for Payne.
