The Detroit Lions have traded running back D’Andre Swift to the Philadelphia Eagles, multiple NFL sources have confirmed this Saturday.
Swift, 24, was a Lions’ second-round pick out of Georgia in 2020.
In order to land the 24-year-old back, Philadelphia reportedly sent a 2024 fourth-round pick and has swapped 2023 seventh-round picks with Detroit.

One of the most dynamic backs in the league when healthy, injuries have limited Swift’s availability and effectiveness throughout his three seasons in the NFL.
He started just eight games between his first two seasons in Detroit and was clearly hampered by multiple injuries in the latter part of the 2022 season.
The Eagles will hope Swift’s injury luck takes a turn for the better this season.
