If the Philadelphia Eagles’ draft strategy has been to land as many former Georgia Bulldogs as possible, they’re succeeding admirably.
Howie Roseman and company got festivities started by drafting defensive tackle Jalen Carter 9th overall. Before the first round ended, the Eagles added linebacker and fellow Bulldog Nolan Smith.
And today, on the third day of the draft, Philadelphia has selected cornerback Kelee Ringo.

The above graphic from ESPN illustrates the healthy pipeline from Georgia to Philadelphia.
Not only is Ringo is an impressive talent to land at this stage of the draft, but the team’s focus on one collegiate program has no historical precedent.
“Georgia corner Kelee Ringo, the Eagles’ pick at 105 overall, ran a 4.36 40-yd dash at the combine- tied for fifth-fastest among DBs in 2023,” ESPN’s Tim McManus tweeted.
“This is the first time in the common draft era that Philly has selected 3 players from a single school.”
