Georgia cornerback Kelee Ringo was widely expected to be drafted on Day 1 or 2 of the 2023 NFL Draft.
But as the 3rd round ended on Friday evening, Ringo found himself still waiting to hear his name called.
It didn’t take long for him to hear it on Day 3, though.
After sending a 2024 third-round pick to Houston just before the action kicked off today, the Philadelphia Eagles selected Ringo at No. 105 overall.

Ringo joins Jalen Carter and Nolan Smith as ex-Georgia defenders to be drafted by the Eagles this year. He’ll join former Bulldog teammates Nakobe Dean and Jordan Davis in Philly this spring, too.
One of the most physically gifted corners in this class, Ringo has all the traits to become a productive defensive back in the NFL. Landing in Philadelphia likely boosts his chances of becoming just that – and maybe even more.
