One of the most persistent storylines of the 2022 season was the free agency of Odell Beckham Jr.
On the heels of winning his first Super Bowl with the Los Angeles Rams, OBJ wound up sitting out through the duration of last season due to a torn ACL.
This period of inactivity didn’t mark the end of his career, however, as teams such as the Dallas Cowboys have shown interest in signing the three-time Pro Bowler.
According to Jordan Schultz of theScore, talks between Beckham and the Cowboys are trending in a positive direction.
2x All-Pro WR Odell Beckham Jr. has had positive discussions with the #Cowboys, sources tell @theScore. There are several teams interested, but Dallas would like to make it work. I’m told OBJ is seeking a multi-year contract. pic.twitter.com/tGBihFtzR2

“There are several teams interested, but Dallas would like to make it work. I’m told OBJ is seeking a multi-year contract.”
It comes as no surprise that Beckham has multiple suitors, but Dallas has long made sense as a potential landing spot. The team showed interest last season and could still use depth at wide receiver behind CeeDee Lamb.
During the 2022 season, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones infamously said Beckham “is going to join” Dallas. Now, a year later, the Cowboys’ front office will have a chance to make good on that promise.
