As has been the case since midway through the 2022 season, the NFL world is waiting to find out where Odell Beckham Jr. will suit up next.

Beckham missed the entire 2022 campaign due to a torn ACL he suffered during Super Bowl LVI. He visited three teams as a free agent but concerns about his recovery ultimately prevented him from inking a deal.

But Beckham has now erased any qualms about his health by holding an open workout for NFL teams last week. He’s reportedly asking for a multi-year contract worth $15 to $20 million per season.

While it remains to be seen whether anyone will meet that asking price, there is clearly some interest in Beckham. One team that seems to continually pop up: the New York Jets.

That buzz grew louder Friday when Dianna Russini of ESPN tweeted that the Jets are “interested and staying in touch” with Beckham.

The Jets, of course, made headlines this week when longtime Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers announced that he intends to play for Gang Green next season. And Rodgers would apparently like to throw passes to Beckham. Russini reported earlier in the week that Rodgers gave the Jets a “wish list” of players he would like the franchise to sign, and Beckham was on it.

That came after Jets cornerback Sauce Gardner sparked the speculation about Beckham joining the team when he tweeted a photo of himself FaceTiming with Beckham last week.

Signing with the Jets would represent a return to New York for Beckham, who spent the first five seasons of his NFL career with the Giants. Beckham earned Pro Bowl honors during three of those years.

Beckham then signed with the Cleveland Browns and struggled. However, after getting released by the Browns midway through the 2021 season, Beckham signed with the Los Angeles Rams and showed some of his early-career explosiveness, catching 48 passes for 593 yards and seven touchdowns while leading the team to a Super Bowl win..

Should he sign with the Jets, Beckham would join a loaded receiving corps that also includes reigning NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year Garrett Wilson, free agent signee Allen Lazard, Corey Davis and Elijah Moore.

Other teams in pursuit of Beckham seem to include the Dallas Cowboys and Buffalo Bills. We should know soon where Beckham will make his comeback.
