Trade proposal features Eagles making big move in NFL Draft

What would it take to get the Lions’ No. 6 pick in the 2023 NFL Draft? We could soon find out. 

According to Charlie Campbell of WalterFootball.com, Detroit has been taking calls about trading the sixth overall pick. The Lions and Eagles both have multiple first-round picks in this year’s draft, so it’s not hard to imagine either team making a draft-day move. 

While the internet is abuzz with Detroit fans hoping to steal the 10th and 30th pick from Philadelphia, others have more reasonable expectations. Earlier this month, USA Today’s Russell Brown envisioned a deal full of mid-round and future selections.

In exchange for the sixth overall pick, Detroit would receive Philadelphia’s first-round pick in 2023 (10th overall), a third-round pick (94th overall) and another third-round pick in 2024.
