Will Levis’ NFL Draft slide was unexpected and, frankly, a nightmarish development for the former Kentucky star. Luckily, it’s all over.
Levis came off the board quickly in the second round of the 2023 NFL Draft. The Titans took him with the No. 33 overall pick.
One of the first questions Levis faced after the pick: how’s the toe? A toe injury the second-round quarterback suffered at Kentucky is rumored to have been a primary reason for his slide past the first round.
Levis addressed the injury when speaking with reporters on Friday night and made it clear it’s no longer a setback for him. Even better, he won’t require any sort of procedure for it.
“@UKFootball QB Will Levis said his toe feels good, and no follow-up procedures are needed,” Jim Wyatt tweeted.

That’s music to Titans fans’ ears. The former Kentucky star missed two games with a toe injury last year.
Levis should be 100 percent heading into offseason workouts. He’s expected to compete for the team’s starting quarterback gig for the 2023 campaign.
